Local Growbabys provide quality clothing and equipment for babies and children - and other support based on local needs - for free, regardless of income, faith or background.
Since 2019 we have served families in Darlington under the banner of Baby-basics Darlington, providing much needed items to familes who are struggling. This has included but has not been limited to moses baskets, cots, clothing, toiletries, pushchairs, hospital bags, car seats, stair gates, toys and much more.
We’ve now transitioned to Growbaby which means we can continue to offer all of these things, but are going to be opening up our doors for people to come, have a coffee, choose their own items, find support and a place to relax and find assistance. We want to offer a place for people to find community as well as being provided for practically, signposting to professional care and other local charities.
Wesley’s is open every Wednesday from 12:30pm - 2:30pm.
